Percy Jackson is one of multiple popular novel series by Rick Riordan. It has recently been adapted into movies as well. The characters in the series are well-developed and complex. They are adored by readers and attempts have been made to typify them using the MBTI personality classification system.
The main character Percy Jackson is typified as an ESFJ (The Consul). This personality type has the Extraverted, Sensing, Feeling and Judging functions. Like most ESFJs, Percy has a strong sense of duty and honour and is loyal to his loved ones. He is good at engaging with other people and is warm and sensitive. He also has a tendency to be too selfless and a little inflexible. Lastly, although Percy is an ESFJ, he exhibits a lot of introvert traits as well.
