In this article, we will describe a combination of ISTJ 1w2 personality type i.e. ISTJ personality from the MBTI types and the type 1w2 from enneagram types. Enneagram Type1w2 includes basic type one personality traits and complementary traits of type 2. Both types of traits support each other. These types of people have the drive to be good in accordance with values, are righteous, balanced, selfless, rational but also warm, action-oriented, thoughtful, compassionate, empathic, kind, and idealistic personalities with an interpersonal focus. They try to educate others, do the right thing, and feel like it’s their obligation. 

One may find type 1w2 involved in reforms and public causes. Although these types have high self-control, they allow themselves channels of emotional expression. Yet, they can also be perfectionistic with a strict conscience and possibly have high self-satisfaction with doing the right thing. When they disagree about something, they are vocal about it and express their anger towards others for not following their suggestions. 

It is hard for type1w2 to be criticized by others on their ideals. So, they may try to emotionally manipulate others into feeling guilty for doing so. ISTJ 1w2 personalities are rational and focused on details. They go through life by following their values and are committed to making ethical choices. Their manner is quiet and steady. They are thoughtful, loyal, and dutiful and do things according to plan. Towards people, they can be warm and compassionate. Their idealistic personalities are driven to educate others and do the right thing. This shows that they have a strong sense of morality. They are particularly focused on using their experiences and knowledge to guide their behavior. Workstyle: ISTJ 1w2

In the workplace, ISTJs 1w2 are focused on small details.  They are perfectionistic with a strict conscience and are driven to doing the right thing. They do not like to be controlled by others and need flexibility.

ISTJS 1w2 faces conflicts at a formal level since they have a good sense of right and wrong. Their communication style is formal, detail-oriented, and factual with a reduced emotional component. They prefer simplicity and fairness in their conflict management. Their stance can be lecturish and controlling which may put off others. When they disagree about something, they are vocal about it and express their anger towards others for not following their suggestions. They can also emotionally manipulate others for not agreeing with them.

Interpersonal Skills: ISTJ 1w2

ISTJs 1w2 may have a high degree of self-control. They try to be warm and compassionate to others but struggle in their interpersonal interactions due to their difficulty with emotions. They keep their private self to themself and are often emotionally manipulative in the name of self-righteousness especially if someone disagrees with their worldview. This is because receiving criticism from others is hard for them. So they may guilt-trip others unconsciously.
